    WeCalm® helps animals cope with stress, anxiety, and fear gently and effectively—without unwanted side effects. Its combination of natural ingredients, including L-theanine, L-tryptophan, B vitamins, and the marine peptide Peptazin®, supports the balance of the nervous system and promotes a sense of calm and security. Thanks to its unique formulation, it does not cause drowsiness and is suitable for long-term use.

    Key ingredients and their benefits

     

    Peptazin®

    A hydrolyzed marine peptide with effects similar to benzodiazepines on the hypothalamic-pituitary axis with sympathoadrenal activity. It increases gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) levels in the hippocampus and hypothalamus, improving anxiety control and supporting learning processes.
     

    L-Tryptophan

    A precursor of serotonin, a neurotransmitter responsible for regulating mood and behavior. Low serotonin levels have been directly associated with stress, depression, and aggression.
     

    L-Theanine

    Increases GABA neurotransmitter levels, which play a key role in regulating the central nervous system's response to fear and anxiety. It also helps increase serotonin and dopamine levels while reducing norepinephrine levels.
     

    Vitamins B1, B3, and B6

    These vitamins contribute to healthy neurons and proper brain function, reduce nervousness, and improve concentration. They are essential cofactors for the production and activity of several neurotransmitters. In particular, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) plays a crucial role in converting 5-hydroxytryptophan into serotonin.

    Dosage

    Recommended daily dosage according to body weight:

    < 5 kg: ½ tablet

    5–10 kg: 1 tablet

    10–25 kg: 2 tablets

    25–40 kg: 3 tablets

    Over 40 kg: 4 tablets

    Directions for use:

    May be mixed with food or administered directly into the mouth.

    Short-term use / specific situations: Administer 1–2 hours before the anticipated event. The dose may be repeated if necessary.

    Long-term use / behavioral problems: Administer half of the recommended daily dose. The dosage may be adjusted according to the animal's response.

    • Stressful situations: Car travel, veterinary visits, grooming.
    • Behavioral therapy: Animals repeatedly exposed to the situations above. The learning process is supported through the positive effects on dopamine and serotonin metabolism.

    Long-term use of WeCalm® for behavioral support

    • Behavioral problems: Loss of house-training habits (urinating or defecating in inappropriate places), urine marking, whining, tail chasing.
    • Separation anxiety: Destructive behavior, barking, howling, loss of appetite.
    • Reactions to other animals, people, and objects: Signs of aggression toward other animals, people (e.g. mail carriers or strangers), or various objects.
