    WeJoint® Plus is a nutritional supplement designed to provide targeted support for joint health in dogs and cats. It helps strengthen joint structures, supports cartilage regeneration, and effectively helps relieve pain and inflammation.     Glucosamine Hydrochloride

    Essential for the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans, which are components of cartilage and synovial fluid. It supports improved mobility, flexibility, and load-bearing capacity of joint structures. The hydrochloride form offers higher bioavailability.
     

    Harpagophytum Procumbens – Devil’s Claw – Standardized Purified Extract

    Provides anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, especially in the treatment of painful joint manifestations. Studies indicate that it inhibits arachidonic acid metabolism, cyclooxygenase (COX), and lipoxygenase (LOX), reducing the production of eicosanoids such as prostaglandins. In terms of COX inhibition, Harpagophytum inhibits COX-2 but not COX-1, which helps explain its high tolerance and reduced side effects compared with NSAIDs, which inhibit both forms of the enzyme.
     

    Chondroitin Sulfate

    Supports the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans in chondrocytes, helping cartilage absorb impact. It also helps maintain water balance and hydration in cartilage and, together with collagen, contributes to tensile strength. It also helps keep synovial fluid healthy and fluid.
     

    Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM)

The presence of type II collagen leads to a reduced immune response and lower expression of collagenase, which is responsible for the destructive cycle of cartilage breakdown.
     

    Manganese

    This trace element is the most common cofactor for glycosyltransferases, essential enzymes involved in the synthesis of proteoglycans required for cartilage and bone formation.

    Dosage and Method of Administration

    Dosage – WeJoint® Plus Flavoured Tablets

    Up to 10 kg: 1 Small Breed and Cats tablet daily

    10–25 kg: 1 Medium Breed tablet daily

    25–40 kg: 1 Large Breed tablet daily

    Over 40 kg: 2 Large Breed tablets daily

    In acute conditions, the dose may be doubled for 15 days.

     

    Dosage – WeJoint® Plus Paste (30 ml)

    The paste is particularly suitable for smaller dogs and cats or for animals that do not tolerate tablets well.

    Up to 5 kg – 1 ml daily

    5–10 kg – 2 ml daily

    10–15 kg – 3 ml daily

    15–20 kg – 4 ml daily

    In acute conditions, the dose may be doubled for 15 days.
